And that's just two pictures that I snapped this morning. If you have ever moved before, I'm sure you know that there are many, many more boxes! When I was first thinking about packing up, I figured it would be a cinch since I didn't think I had that much stuff. Boy howdy was I wrong. I keep finding things I had forgot about!
Amidst all the moving, working, and schooling, Thad's amazing, wonderful Uncle David passed away last Friday. It was expected as Uncle Dave had been suffering from lung cancer that had progressed into brain cancer, but losing someone--especially someone as beloved as Uncle Dave--is never easy. We attended his funeral in Orlando on Wednesday and were able to be with all of the Tisdale family which was fun. It was a Catholic funeral and would you believe that is the first time I've ever experienced any type of Catholic service? I've been in Catholic churches before, just never for any kind of service. It was gorgeous, and pretty interesting to see all of the ceremonies and rituals. Anyway, Uncle Dave will be greatly missed. Him and Aunt Sue are two my favorite people in the world to talk to because they have done so much. He worked at the Pentagon, lived in Germany for several years, traveled all over the world and was extremely pensive and intelligent.

Before packing up a myriad of boxes this morning, I ate these:
Coconut pancakes made with 2 tablespoons of coconut flour, 2 tablespoons of coconut milk, 1 egg and a ton of water to thin them out, plus a banana, homemade almond butter and pure maple syrup.
I took off work today in order to get a lot of things done for the move. We didn't sell our house yet (everyone keeps asking me that). We'll probably end up renting it, so if you know of someone who wants to rent a house in Lake City, you just let me know. ;)
After I went to the post office this morning which was a complete waste of time per usual (I waited in a horribly long line for 5 minutes and didn't move anywhere, so I just left and paid $1 to change my address online--my time is more valuable than that!!), I ran a few more errands and am now about to drive Thad's huge truck with the trailer we're using to transport our furniture. Did you catch that? I am about to drive the truck and trailer. Please pray that I don't die, or more importantly, that our stuff doesn't fall off the open trailer. Thad has to drive his sports bike down to the house which means I get to drive the boat truck. Beware.
Oh, and here's meh lunch on fine china:
Turkey, spinach, dijon mustard, avocado on sprouted grain bread, plus some unpictured cucumber slices and tahini (eat it so you don't have to move it has been my motto as of late).
Peace OUT, Lake City!

This makes me remember our move and ugh! It is so not fun! I had to pick up the U-haul because the place closed before Jared would have been able to get there from work. It was the 2nd longest truck they had and I had to drive it from Starke to our Melrose house. I felt ridiculous, to say the least. I hope the move goes well!
Hope the move goes well. Wish we were there to help. I can't wait to to see pictures of the new place and how you decorate it! I sure don't envy the fact that you are living from boxes right now, but luckily it will be over soon :)
Good Luck moving! I can't wait to see the new place!
