Wallpaper = gnarly

I started my week off with a smoothie for breakfast:

  • 4 Tbsp hemp protein powder (= 1 serving)
  • 1 tsp maca
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • Handful of blueberries
  • Raspberries
  • Spinach
You can see my kitchen wallpaper behind my tervis tumbler, but let me give you a closer look at this retro style pattern I have the pleasure of viewing when I'm in my kitchen:

Tubular, no?  I definitely feel a little like Rainbow Brite whenever I'm in the kitchen.

True story: my nickname was Rainbow Brite during softball my freshman year of highschool because I accidently wore brightly colored underwear underneath my white softball pants for one of our games.  So, I was deemed Rainbow Brite.  Lesson learned.

I also have wallpaper in different areas throughout the rest of the house.  I really didn't like it at first, but now, it's growing on me.  I actually don't even really notice it anymore.

Vanity area in the master suite.

Master bathroom

Living room--I actually really like this wallpaper.  It reminds me of bamboo, and is slightly bumpy when you run your hand over it.  It's a pale green if you can't tell by the picture.

Guest bathroom--primary colors!!  I love primary colors!  I wouldn't have chosen it, but it's growing on me.  It's just so dang cheery.

Thad's bathroom (guest bedroom bath).  I'd have to say this is my least favorite, but I never see it since it's in the far corner of the house.

One word for the wallpaper: gnarly.

My lunch was just a salad:

Turkey salad with all the fixins' topped with salsa.

Back to completing the intern's project for him!

I think the wallpaper looks less distasteful in person, though it is dated. That primary color stuff looks like what we put in our addition bathroom in 1980-81.
