House Tour

So after almost two months to the day of living in our new abode, I've decided to finally give you a tour of my house.  I gave one whenever we first moved in, so click on over here to check out the 'before' pictures.  Without further adieu,

Living room:

Sitting area:

Dining room:

The only thing I haven't gotten for the house yet is a centerpiece for my dining room table.  I've looked, but I'm waiting for something to jump out at me.  I have to ~feel~ whatever I'm going to look at every single day!

Kitchen:

Breakfast nook:

I don't have a table & chairs in here yet, but I'm really wanting to get a Saarinen table for a retro/modern (whichever you prefer) look.

Master bedroom:

Master bathroom (and the only reason I'm showing you this is because I love my cheap shower curtain):

Guest bedroom:

My office (and where I'm currently writing this post):

Yes, those are Barbies.  I really was serious that I have a {growing} collection of them.

Through that door is Thad's office and bathroom, but we're not going to venture in there because he's a boy and boys are messy.

Bathroom/laundry room:

My favorite part about this house:

The views.

Our house is nestled in between trees when viewing it from the lake:

So there you go!  Hope you enjoyed it.  :)  Come on over anytime!

I love how when you talk about me, you alway put something in the sentence in quotation marks. This time it's "best", sometimes it's "friend". And just know, I point pencils at your face for the ENTIRE year that you and Cyndi poked me in the butt with pencils while YOU farted near the window in 10th grade...I will not mention the teacher...

Muy Buena! I commend you for working so hard and making a post! (+cleaning). The house looks amazing. Are you renting your other home?

Thanks, ladies!

Janelle--we have a contract on our Lake City house!! We're purposefully not getting excited though because we know deals fall through all the time. Our closing date isn't until the end of this month, so it's a waiting game at this point. :/
